The Best Yoga Mat Ever | Product Review

Pretty much everyone owns a basic yoga mat. There are so many exercise methods it works with and it’s affordable. Giving a sticky friction between you and the floor, plus cushioned support, makes it easier and more effective to work out. However, sweat can cause slipping and a cheap mat may serve the purpose, but the frustrations of losing your grip can be defeating when in the midst of a workout. Is there a better option?

The Best Yoga Mat Is…
The best yoga mat I have ever tried is the Jade Yoga Mat. It can be purchased online through ExhaleSpa.com, though I have also found it on Amazon.com. I got to use one during my core fusion workout in Chicago with Nicole Romano Uribarri of Exhale Spa. I did the workout in my socks this mat gripped so well! I had never experienced such an effective yoga mat. Unfortunately I was not in town long enough to investigate purchasing one of these yoga mats in person, plus I really didn’t want to bother with checking luggage on the airplane or making an attempt to carry it aboard so I was better off looking into it later. Needless to say, upon returning home I had to research this amazing product and find out more.

About the Product
Surprisingly Jade Yoga Mats are environmentally friendly. Made from natural rubber (yes, from rubber trees, not man made manufactured plastic) this renewable resource proves to be superior in quality. It amazes me when the “made from nature” items actually function better, but this just proves going green doesn’t have to mean a sacrifice in quality. However, it does sometimes mean an added expense.

Ask Yourself
But is it worth it? In my opinion, absolutely! But would it be worth it to you? Ask yourself:

-Do you do yoga a few times a week or more?

-Have you ever experienced slipping on your current yoga mat due to sweat?

-Do you have cold, sweaty, or clammy feet and wish you could wear socks while doing yoga or other exercises that require a yoga mat?

If you answered yes to all of these questions then you would absolutely benefit from a Jade Yoga Mat. If you answered yes to one or two of the questions, you could justify the cost as an investment in your health and encouragement of your exercise routine.

Remember that regular exercise is essential to good health. Doing yoga (or other similar forms of workouts) at home via TV, internet, or video is an affordable way to establish a regular exercise routine. If you’re the type to spend a lot of money on a home gym or expensive gym membership and never use it, but you’ll do yoga at home, then a good yoga mat could be the encouragement you need to keep with it.  Regardless of at home or at a gym, a good mat will help you keep up and get the most out of your workout.
